Automatic irrigating systems can be installed in most gardens. Such systems include water pipes, connectors/nipples, controllers, precipitation sensors, rectifiers/electrovalves, and pop-up sprinklers. Sprinklers are divided into sections which irrigate different parts of the garden. Irrigation is monitored by a time-controller which works in cooperation with the rain switch. In case of a rainfall, the rain switch automatically shuts down the irrigation. The average cost of installing the irrigation system is 1-2 $ per square meter. The ultimate costs depend on the kind and number of sprinklers used in the project.
