The basic components of the system are thick-walled polyethylene capillaries. Small and uniform water expenditure is ensured by the capillaries whose cross-section is fixed/stable (0,7 mm, 0,8 mm, 0,9 mm).

One end of the capillary is pressed into the polyethylene line/duct, whereas the other one is held by a grip stuck in the soil next to the plants.

Capillaries are 0,80 m long. The length of the capillaries (0,80 m) allows for different kinds of irrigation consistent. The grip used to hold capillaries is made of polypropylene. The bottom part of the grip is pointed, whereas the upper part has an opening through which goes the capillary. Distributing ducts, into which the capillaries are pressed, are made of black polyethylene. Their length is adapted to the length of the rows and the arrangement of the glass-house or plastic tunnel. Leading ducts are also made of black polyethylene. Both types of ducts are connected by connectors.

Effects:

The research confirms that dripping irrigation increased tomatoes' crop by 10-15% and their average mass by 5-10% in comparison with manual irrigation.
