Misting usually takes places in warmer periods. Extremely fine rain or mist is induced in order to:

• increase air humidity
• decrease ambient temperature

Characteristics:

• pressure of 2 bars
• water expenditure from 45 to 105 l/h
• contruction height from 1,70 to 2,20 m

Internal antydripper/antitricker???, also called "water-cutter", prevents the depletion/rinsing out of the soil. It also prevents the plants or seeds' from being damaged after completing the works.

In tunnels which are 6 to 8m wide misters are installed inside the polyethylene pipe every 3 meters.

The amount of precipitation depends on the type of nozzle:

• 0,95mm gives precipitation of 3,8 mm/h
• 1,10mm gives precipitation of 5,7 mm/h
• 1,40mm gives precipitation of 8,3 mm/h
